Anonymous session cookie

WyzBuz creates a random anonymous session identifier so actions within the same shopping session can be connected without asking you to create an account.

The current cookie is stored for up to 30 days. It is HttpOnly, uses SameSite=Lax, and is marked Secure when WyzBuz runs in production.

The identifier is a random technical value. It does not contain your name, email address or phone number.

First-party usage events

WyzBuz records a limited set of first-party events so the team can understand whether the buying experience is useful.

The current controlled events include:

• recommendations generated,
• product detail viewed,
• comparison opened, and
• buying options viewed.

These records may include the anonymous session identifier, relevant product or variant identifiers and a result count. The conversion-event payload does not accept raw conversation text, voice audio, arbitrary analytics data or a customer-supplied session identity.

When you use an eligible Buy link

If you choose an eligible merchant link, WyzBuz may record the offer and affiliate-link identifiers, provider, anonymous session identifier, referring page and browser user-agent so the handoff can be attributed and diagnosed.

The current WyzBuz outbound-click flow does not store a raw IP address and writes no IP hash value.

WyzBuz may earn a commission from eligible links. What WyzBuz earns does not determine what product it recommends.

The merchant destination controls its own checkout, final price, availability and transaction terms.

When you speak to WyzBuz

Voice input is optional. When you use it, the browser captures a short recording and WyzBuz sends that audio to its configured speech service so the speech can be transcribed and, when needed, normalized into English.

WyzBuz does not persist the raw audio in its application database. The returned transcript is shown back to you for review before pressing Send applies anything to your shopping requirements.

Provider-side retention, deletion, processing location and other contractual privacy terms are not claimed here until independently verified.

AI-assisted requirement interpretation

When you press Send, WyzBuz sends your current structured shopping requirements together with the message you entered to its configured AI service. Language metadata may also be included when available.

The AI service interprets the request into controlled structured updates. It does not own WyzBuz product eligibility, evidence, technical scoring or recommendation order.

The current WyzBuz backend does not maintain a database of your assistant conversation history.

Still under formal legal and operational review

WyzBuz has not published a final customer-data retention schedule or final correction, deletion, erasure, withdrawal or other customer-rights process in this candidate.

Day 18 backup-retention engineering is not treated as a substitute for a customer-data retention policy.

These processes will be published only after their legal basis, operating workflow and production implementation are verified.

Security without exposing security-sensitive details

WyzBuz uses application security controls designed to limit unauthorized access, abuse and accidental exposure. Customer-facing legal text does not publish credentials, administrative secrets, private connection details or other information that could weaken those controls.

Commercial data does not buy organic recommendation rank

WyzBuz keeps commercial attribution separate from recommendation ranking. Affiliate commission or future sponsored economics must not silently change evidence-based organic recommendations.
